The 289 cubic inch C-Code eight cylinder engine was an optional engine in these Mustangs and had about 200 horse power and 282 ft.-lbs of torque and ours sits in an engine compartment that is very detailed and correct with the correct factory blue painted valve covers and factory air cleaner assembly with the orange 289 decal on top.
It has performance spark plug wires, factory cast iron exhaust manifolds, power brakes, factory air conditioning, dual exhaust, and other redone factory components.
The engine is shifted thru a floor mounted shifter and automatic transmission. Our Mustang runs and drives well on the BF Goodrich Radial TA raised white letter performance tires mounted on aftermarket chrome 5-spoke mag wheels.
Take a look underneath at the classic and you will see how it looks as clean as you can keep it and drive the Mustang.
Interior
The convertibles interior looks great with its white twin bucket seats with brown carpeting and Mustang floor mats, matching door panels as well as the back bench seat. It has a three-spoke Mustang sport steering wheel, full factory gauges, air conditioning, and a great pushbutton stereo radio system too.
While the light colored top looks good against the red paint, the white interior has a truly timeless sense of style. And you’ll especially like to show this with the top down as it has the classic look as well as being sporty too.
Exterior
The 1967 Mustang Convertible looks great with its vibrant red exterior and light convertible top, factory side scoops, Mustang emblems, recessed turn signals, bright metal rocker panel moldings, and the iconic rear gas tank cap.
That gives this one exactly what you want on a sunshine-friendly convertible and it sure has the right look with the mag wheels and performance tires.
Conclusion
The bright red 1967 Mustang Convertible is a great example of the sporty Mustangs of the 60’s that many men and women bought that year, stylish, economical, but most of all, a lot of fun!
